Developing Code-Compliant Integrated Fire Protection & Life Safety Inspection, Testing & Maintenance Programs
Heath Care occupancies are constantly battling ITM contractors about their fire alarm ITM program and results. Errors in the development of ITM contracts, a lack of training and understanding of code requirements and device-specific testing criteria, a lack of owner involvement, the inability to involve all necessary parties, and several other factors often leads to citations from CMS Accrediting Organizations (AO’s) including TJC and DNV. Utilizing several components NFPA’s Fire and Life Safety Ecosystem and an overview of NFPA 72, NFPA 3, and NFPA 4, this session will provide the framework and background of this newly created resource from ASHE and how best to apply it.

Non-Member Attendance Policy

Non-CSHE members are welcome to attend one complimentary chapter meeting. If you are a non-member who has already attended one chapter meeting, you will be unable to register for any additional chapter meetings until you have become a member.
