Incorporated in 1970, CSHE originally included the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter which was founded in 1956, the Los Angeles Metropolitan Chapter founded in 1959, and the Inland Chapter founded in 1967.
The San Diego Chapter was established in 1972, Central Coastal and Orange County in 1976, Central Valley in 1977, Northeastern California in 1980, Kings River in 1986, Kern River in 1989, South Bay Counties in 1991 and Redwood in 1992.

Craig has been involved with the healthcare industry for 20 years and is the Manager of Plant Operations and Facilities for Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. During this time, he has been involved with various projects and commissioning new buildings in addition to daily operation and regulatory compliance. Craig serves as the Vice President for Central Coastal Chapter of California Society for Healthcare Engineering (CSHE). The chapter continues to grow and participation is encouraged. The importance of education, training and networking is always a priority for the chapter.
Prior to healthcare, Craig spent 24 years in manufacturing and facilities management specifically in the plastics, foam, and battery industries where he supported facilities in the United States and Asia.
