Join us at the CSHE Central Coast Chapter Meeting to talk about the hospital incident command system for the hospital engineer. Please see the learning objectives below that will be covered at the meeting.
The Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) is a modular program for the command and control of incidents either within a facility or directly impacting a facility. Every member of the facility staff plays a critical role in protecting the patients and the HICS system provides structure and smooth lines of communication/organization to ensure a successful outcome during an emergency.
Dinner will be provided at 6:00 pm.

- Identify the components of HICS
- Identify key personnel and their areas of responsibility.
